Slashdotted?

March 22nd, 2006

More than a month ago, I got an email from an old friend, Robin Miller (Roblimo) of OSTG checking on me, and asking me if I might be interested in having an interview for one of my daily visits and favorites, Slashdot. Happily I agreed, and I was delighted and overwhelmed by the questions that slashdotters asked in the question collection post. Today, the answers of the top 12 rated questions were published. One must be glad to see his name in one of his favorite sites. Thanks Roblimo, Thanks Slashdot.

    Salam,
Very glad to see you replies on slashdot. They are good ones and I agree with most of them. I think that you represented the arab FLOSS movement very well.
    Thank you

Hello Wisam, I’ve just read your replies at Slash dot and I must say that you did Very very well in replying to those questions, and I agree with you especially about applying OpenSource in Universities and schools and its benefits over the community and future generations. It is really sad to see packs of graduates every year with no basic knowledge or technical background about the outside world which would enable them to create a successful career or bright future.
