AlBath AlMobasher
As I didn’t find my dream car yet, I am still using taxis in the morning to get to work. One of the programs that I find most of the taxi drivers enjoying in the morning hours is the “Al Bath Al-Mobasher” (Direct Broadcast). It is a show that allows the public to call in, and report any complains or observations they have, and the people on the show tries to contact those complained at, or related, to get a reply, or directly give the complain to, all on the air. I remember this radio show as long as I remember the Arabic Service of Radio Jordan, as I remember my late grandmother listening to it every morning, until the 10am news, which they tell the names of new deaths in the kingdom after.
I’ve heard a number of unbelievable stories in this show, although I occasionally listen to it. Stories about corruption, bureaucracy, power abuse, and bad fortune and luck. Today, on the way to work, I was listening to a very similar program on Radio Fann presented by Mohammed Al-Wakeel (of Jordan Television). Now it seems that the need for people to complain was so overwhelming that having a similar show in a commercial FM station became feasible.

Al Bath Al Mubasher is for real one heck of an important Service that I totally respect in the Official Arabic Service of Radio Jordan Broadcasting.
this is why it’s a Nation Radio, this is its service!
while about Fann FM, which is owned by the Jordanian Armed Forces & Powered by a giant private media group (That I just cant remember its name at this moment, but its the Same powering Radio Rotana “owned by Rotana obviously” and 3-4 Magazines including JO & Layalina) & aimed by the Jordanian Armed forces to keep the people “esp youth” who went away from lsning local radio stations to foreign ones rebroadcasting in Jordan (Mainly VOA powered Radio Sawa).
& there comes Radio Fann’s mession in giving Community service to lsners along with commercial style entertainment.
So mainly Fann FM’s service mentioned by you above mr isam is actually a mession rather than commercial orientation.. just look at all other Private FM Stations in Jordan… nothing but non stop music, commercials, & Call 0900 phonecalls …
Excluding from those Private FM stations is Radio Amman net (Voice of society) which is a 100% social Local Radio Station .. its the voice of amman for real.
& Maybe Play FM, that in parallel with it very commercially oriented Service, but it has loads give aways & active-in-place events that are community oriented beside the main commercial orientation in a way or another

تعبنا من المواقع الكثيرة و الكثيرة جدا و التي لا تختلف عن بعضها الا باللون و اسم صاحب الموقع … اعجبتني فكرة موقعك علما مع انني لا املك الوقت الكافي لابقى على اتصال بالعالم الذي كنت اعيشه … وتوقفت ثقافتي منذ تركت بيت و الدي مراهقا اهيم في هذه الارض الى ان القى وجه ربي اهيم فيها بحثا عن رزقي …. و لا يوجد لي اي وقت فراغ و اعمل من الساعة 6 فجرا الى الساعة 12 ليلا على اقل تقدير و امضى 48 ساعة نائما او شبه نائم يومي الجمعة و السبت الا للصلوات و ارجع للنوم …
حتى ان دوامي سينتهي الان و يجب ان اكمل لك رسالتي في يوم اخر …. و لكن فرصة سعيدة بلقائك …. و اتمنى لقائك … و باختصار شديد عندي فكرة ساطرحها عليك في خلال هذا الاسبوع
