As you can see, I am spending my first night in Beruit writing in my Blog :) I guess I suck at having fun..
Well, I plan to go tomorrow morning t downtown Beruit. I heard nice things about it. Then I will be at the ICT event, which is the reason for my visit to Lebanon in the first place. I called Jad, Linux-lb guy, and I plan to meet him tomorrow.
Yesterday in my talk with Kuru, I became more aware about how bad and harmful is my current attitude in Arabeyes. I think I should find a way to manage things better, and be able to give to Arabeyes as I am supposed to.

Movies & Entertainment
Now that I am back, and all the romance and love for Amman had faded, its all getting back to me. One of the things I enjoyed in Damman is clean air. In Amman, I am from a minority.. that is the non-smokers minority. And it is impossible for us, members in this minority, to enjoy clean, smoke-free air.
Now, at work, the office is smoke-free, but transportation from and to work is “smokeful”. Today, while I was in a Taxi back home, looking from the window, it is hard to see non-smokers .. for some reason young Jordanians are joining the smokers community, and get hooked to this annoying smelly habit.
Back when I used to be a Mayor of a large city in Sim City, one of the first things that I impose is “Clean Air Act” and all the Laws against smoking. I know such Utopia will never exit, but at least, I can hope for clean air.
